Just Us Girls #410 - Trend Week

Dear Ones~
This time over at Just Us Girls it's TREND WEEK, and our gal Bobby has chosen Block Watercolor Stamping. Put down some color on an acrylic block and then stamp it on the paper. Gorgeous!!!!

Here's my card:
I recently watched Jennifer McGuire do this technique in a video, and she really inspired me. You can watch it HERE. She made some amazing cards. Here I have used 3 colors of Oxides and used the technique Jennifer showed us. The focal is from the GKD Sentimental Summer kit and I chose to do some no line watercoloring with my Zigs. I love this little image.

Here are the Ingredients:
GKD Dusty Rose and Black Onyx Card Stock
Strathmore Watercolor Paper
GKD Sentimental Summer Stamps
Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers
Oxide Inks in:
*Picked Raspberry
*Fossilized Amber
*Salty Ocean
Pop Up Balloon Thinlits Die for Little Bow
Stash Pearls
Please visit the JUST US GIRLS blog to see the wonderful examples that our September Guest Designer Linda and the rest of the team have made this week. And remember, if you win Chic of the Week in any of our September challenges, you will be in the running to be chosen as our Guest Designer for the month of November!!   Good luck, and I hope to see you there.

Thanks for stopping by, I adore your comments!
They always make me smile!!
Hugs~

  5. I love that you used the Oxides, Judy. I wanted to but decided against it so I'm glad you showed that you can used them for this technique. Your little basket of flowers is so sweet and you do so well with the no-line coloring.
