Emboss Resist

Dear Ones~
Today was a beautiful Northern Michigan day. I'll take it. And this weekend promises to be spectacular, I can't wait.
Today's offering will be entered into the Mod Squad Challenge, to do emboss resist. This is one of my favorite techniques, I love the look.

Here's my card:

I used ivory card stock and stamped the Sea Bubbles stamp from Designs by Ryn with Versamark and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. Then I sponged with Tea Dye and Victorian Velvet Distress Inks. The butterfly was stamped with Distress Markers and then painted with my waterbrush to bring out the colors.

Here are the Ingredients:
GKD Warm Cocoa, Innocent Pink and Ivory Card Stock
Designs by Ryn Sea Bubbles Stamp Set
GKD Birthday Blessings Stamp Set
Tea Dye and Victorian Velvet Distress Inks
Tea Dye, Victorian Velvet and Warn Lipstick Distress Markers
Spellbinders Flourish Die
Stickles

That's it for me today. Thanks for stopping by, I adore your comments.

  4. You beat me to the punch as I was going to use some drops myself for a creation for this challenge. Hmmmm! I best think again as your design is wonderful. I am anxious to get inky so you are an inspiration to me. Maybe I will still use the bubbles of a different type.
