Double D - 4th Anniversary, Celebrating with Some Punch

Dear Ones~
HAPPY NEW YEAR! I hope the new you brings you much joy and happiness, and all good things!!

And HAPPY 4th ANNIVERSARY to US. It's Double D's 4th anniversary, so we are celebrating with some PUNCH. We want to see some poor neglected punches used. And here is the Mood Board for our inspiration:
Here is my card:

I don't have many punches, and none that I do have really match any of the images on the Mood Board. So I did the best I could with what I had, and got my inspiration from the color of the luscious looking jar of goodness in the top left. This card was made with Stampin' Up's fabulous punch and die set called Varied Vases. The vases were punched out of Brutus Monroe Watercolor Galaxy patterned paper, glazed over with Glossy Accents, and then popped up with dimensionals. I also used Stampin' Up's Banner Punch for the greeting and Tim Holtz's Tiny Bow punch for the paper bow. The frame was created by embossing the white card stock with SU Stitched Rectangles dies. Using a rubber embossing mat keeps the dies from actually cutting.

Here are the Ingredients:
GKD Passionate Pink and White Card
SU Stitched Rectangle Dies
SU Varied Vases Stamps
SU Varied Vases Punch
Brutus Monroe Watercolor Galaxy Paper
SU Banner Punch
Tim Holtz Tiny Bow Punch
GKD Inks In:
*Passionate Pink
*Dusty Rose
*Obsidian Amalgam Ink

If you head on over to the  Double D Challenge Blog and play along, you could win this fabulous Lawn Fawn Make Lemonade Stamp & Die Set. And don't forget to check out all the beautiful cards the other designers have created for your inspiration.
So that's it for me, thanks for stopping by. I adore your comments, they always make me smile. And don't forget to stop over at Double D and see what's going on.
Until next time, here's celebrating your Creative Muse.
