Just Us Girls #373 - Trend Week

Dear Ones~
This week is TREND week over at Just Us Girls, and I am your host. I have chosen the trend JARS. They are all the rage right now!!

Here is my card:
I thought it would be fun to use a jar as a snow globe. I used to make them when I was a kid with baby food jars and water with some glitter and little plastic figurines. I think it was a Girl Scout project. I cut the lid out of some sliver metallic card stock for a realistic look.

Here are the Ingredients:
GKD Black Onyx Card Stock
SU Cherry Cobbler Card Stock
Recollections North Pole Gazette Patterned Paper
Fiskars All that Glitters Stamp
SU Jars of Love Stamp Set
SU Everyday Jars Framlits
Cuttlebug Tiny Bubbles Embossing Folder
Stash Ribbon
Nuvo Crystal Drops in White
and Covered with Glitter

I would like to welcome our December Guest Designer, Teresa Gregory. She is over-the-top talented, just check out her work HERE!!!

Please visit the JUST US GIRLS blog to see the wonderful cards that Teresa and the rest of the team have made this week. And remember, if you win Chic of the Week in any of our December challenges, you will be in the running to be chosen as our Guest Designer for the month of February, 2017!!   I hope to see you there.

Good luck, and thanks for stopping by!!

  1. Oh I LOOOOOOOOOOOOVE this! (smacks head and says why didn't I think of that?!?!) This is so awesome and clever! We used to make those snow globe jars too, I think it was a right of passage! Love the blue hi-light of your jar and your sweet little snowman! Fabulous Designer Papers and textured snowball and crystal dots--love those too! And for the record, yes I do believe, always have, always will! xoxo

  4. This is so cute, Judy. I made snowglobes for my grandkids one year only I used those tiny Smucker jelly jars. I had a difficult time finding snowmen small enough to fit but I did.
