It has been quite some time since I have done a post. So glad to get back into my inner sanctum and create again. How come summers are so busy? It's supposed to be a time to relax and chill - right?
Today's card was made for the Mod Squad Challenge. The Lovely Lee challenged us to use blue and brown on our card, with one other neutral color.
Here's my card:
I decided to use navy and kraft for my blue and brown colors, and ivory for the other neutral color. I stamped the flowers with GKD Navy ink, and then lightly colored them with Copics.
Here are the materials I used:
Gina K Designs In the Navy Card Stock
Gina K Designs Ivory Card Stock
Gina K Designs Kraft Card Stock
Gina K Designs A Year of Flowers Stamp Set
Gina K Designs Spring Basket Stamp Set
Authentique Something for all Seasons Patterned Paper
Copic Markers
Stickles
Thanks for stopping by, I love to read your sweet comments. Appreciate you all so much! Have a wonderful week my friends.
Oh I love your choice of card stocks! So pretty! The way your flowers are stamped look so nice like that, I can never get that design 'just right'. What I really love about this is that you could send it to anyone, male or female, it's that versatile! Well Done! xo
ReplyDeleteGreat design. Love how you placed the fish tails and used it as a background for the sentiment. I also like how you just colored the centers of the flowers. Glad you had some time to craft again. I was wondering why I had not seen any cards from you for awhile.
ReplyDeleteBeautifully done! Those colors are stunning together!
ReplyDeleteOhhhh the blues on the Kraft are just amazing!! I love that pennant!! Thanks for playing with my challenge Judy!
ReplyDeleteWOW! I love the way you added blue to the flowers. It looks absolutely AWESOME! I might have to try that...
