Can You Handle the Pressure - EASTER

Dear Ones~
There's a new challenge over at Can You Handle the Pressure.   For this challenge blog you MUST use an EMBOSSING FOLDER on your project.  Heat embossing (with embossing powder) is permitted but only IN ADDITION to your embossing folder design.  Each new challenge will have a 'TWIST' which is optional ... your choice to use or not.

The OPTIONAL TWIST for today's challenge is:

EASTER

 Here's my card:
I thought it would be fun to do a little weaving with some patterned paper strips for something different. I love that silly bunny, and I paper pieced her to add some interest.

The Ingredients:

GKD White and Dusty Rose Card Stock
Park Lane Pastel Card Stock
Honey Bee Spring Lullaby Patterned Paper
SU Basket Weave Dynamics Embossing Folder
SU Nested Circle Dies
SU Nested Oval Dies
GKD Master Layouts 8 Dies for Paper Strips
Verve Stamps Hip Hop Bunnies Stamp
Stash Punches

If you head on over to the Can You Handle the Pressure Blog and play along, you could win this fabulous embossing folder, it's a stunner. Don't forget to check out all the beautiful cards the other designers have created while you are there.

So that's it for me, dear reader. I hope spring is heading your way and that your days are filled with joy and happiness.
Until next time, aspire to be inspired, and here's celebrating your Creative Muse.

  6. That bunny is adorable, Judy. We did some weaving in an Altenew retreat and it was a fun way to add something to a card. I love your paper choices and how the size of the strips are the same as the embossing folder.

  7. OMGoodness! This looks AHmazing! First off I adore that basket weave texture, perfect for the Season. That sweet little paper pieced bunny is the absolute cutest--great choices of pattern papers! And that magnificent weaved cross--WHOA! That certainly is the star of the show! How clever and creative to make a cross by weaving those beautiful papers. Judy, this card is off the charts, it checks all of the boxes and then some! Love it!
