Double "D" Challenges - Simply Gingham

Dear Ones~
Whew - its H.O.T!!! Been in the high 80's and low 90's for a few days. I know it's summer, but c'mon. Northern Michigan ain't supposed to be this hot and we don't have AC. Good thing it's pretty cool in my craft room.

Today I made this cute little card for the Double D Challenge for this month. We are challenged to use gingham. How FUN!! Look at all the wonderful inspiration in this photo.

Here's my card:

I am so in love with this adorable stamp set from Verve Stamps. It's called Hip Hop Bunny. I paper pieced him, along with his bow tie. Isn't he funny??? The white lacy borders are from a Martha Stewart Punch, and the doily behind him is a PTI die called Doily Details.

Here are the Ingredients:
Verve Stamps Hip Hop Bunny Stamp
Recollections Home Basics Patterned Paper
GKD White and Black Onyx Card Stock
PTI Doily Details Die
Spellbinders Scalloped Circles Die
Copic Markers
White Nuvo Crystal Drops
Martha Stewart Lace Border Punch

I will also be entering this card in the Simon Says Monday Challenge - Flora and Fauna

Thanks for stopping by, I adore your comments. Stay cool my friends. And for those of you "Down Under", stay warm!!!

  15. So cute, Judy. I have the MS punch and haven't used it in years. I think I had trouble getting it through my Neenah.
