Dear Ones~
Holy Moly, it's snowing like crazy out there, sure am glad I am inside in my craft room!! It has been awhile since I entered a challenge just for fun. Seems like most of my posts lately have been related to my Design Team duties.
Today's offering was made for the Double D Challenge - Black and White. Just look at the wonderful inspirational tiles they have provided for us. Aren't those kitties so stinkin' cute? Double D is celebrating the one year anniversary of their blog challenge - Happy Anniversary Double D!!!!!!
Here is my card:
I thought this would be a fun and easy challenge, until I realized I don't have much black and white patterned paper. My plan was to do a bunch of layers with different textures, but it just wasn't in the cards (or card in this case - lol!!) So I decided to pull out my trusty Altenew Beautiful Day stamp set and color the flower and leaves in grays and blacks. It really was quite fun!! You can't see it, but I embossed the black panel behind the focal with the Cuttlebug Swiss Dot embossing folder.
Here are the Ingredients:
GKD Black Onyx and White Card Stock
Cuttlebug Swiss Dot Embossing Folder
Spellbinders Decorative Curved Square Die
Altenew Beautiful Day Stamp Set
Zig Clean Color Brush Markers
Stickles
irRESISTible Pico Embellisher
So thanks for stopping by, my friends. I adore your comments!!! Stay well and stay warm (or cool as the case may be - ha ha). Hope you are enjoying your weekend.
