Just Us Girls #377 - Color Week

Dear Ones~
This week it's COLOR WEEK over at Just Us Girls, and our gal Chris has chosen PINK, NAVY and GRAY for our color palette. As usual with color challenges, you are to use all three of the chosen colors as well as any neutrals that you need.  Neutrals are white, ivory, kraft, black, brown or gray.

Here is my card:
I pulled out my trusty Altenew Peony Bouquet stamp set for this card. I haven't used it for awhile and I thought this challenge was a great opportunity to play with it. I did the leaves in gray, and I think they look awesome!! After I inked up and stamped the flower image with the various layering stamps, I used my Prismacolor Pencils and white gel pen to enhance the image even further. I need a little practice, but I like the way it makes the image pop even more.

Here are the Ingredients:
GKD Navy and White Card Stock
Darice Circle Interlock EF
PTI Noted: A2 Oval Dies
Altenew Peony Bouquet Stamp
Crafty Secrets Stamp for Greeting
SU & GKD Inks
Sizzix Holiday Greens Die

Please visit the JUST US GIRLS blog to see the wonderful cards that our January Guest Designer Shawna, and the rest of the team have made this week. And remember, if you win Chic of the Week in any of our January challenges, you will be in the running to be chosen as our
Guest Designer for the month of  March!!
Good luck, and I hope to see you there. Oh, and I adore your comments, thanks for stopping by!!!!

  1. Oh My! What a beautiful design! Love that background texture and the oval die cut layering, then how you placed the peony in the corner like that--which is STUNNING!!! I adore 'greenery' in colors other than green. This is amazing! Totally LOVE it!

  6. This flower has been on my wish list forever, but I don't usually have much luck with layering stamps. You make it look sooo easy. Gorgeous flower and you did take it to the next level with the pencils and gel pen. Love the oval frame with the embossing behind and how it grounds the flower and sentiment. Just fabulous.
