Today's offering was made for the Double D Challenge. This time we are invited to use a silhouette on our card. These tiles are wonderful for inspiration!!
Here is my card~
I just adore this cute little fairy by Lavinia Stamps. Can't you just see her talking to the fireflies? I sponged the background on GKD ivory Card Stock with Distress Oxides and sprinkled with water. There were many different stamps used on this card. I wanted to give the feeling of the fairy walking through the forest on a warm summer evening. She is carrying a treasure because it makes her happy. For the fireflies I stamped an image that is just little circles and heat embossed with silver. Then I applied some Stickles to give them more sparkle.
Here are the Ingredients:
GKD Ivory Card Stock
SU Rich Razzleberry Card Stock
Stash Silver Card Stock
Distress Oxide Inks
Lavinia Dandelion Fairy Stamp
GKD Holiday Frame Fillers Stamp
GKD By the Sea 2 Stamp
GKD Branching Out Stamp
GKD Triple Play Frame Stamp
Stickles and Silver Embossing Powder
It has been cold and rainy all day here. A great day to play in my craft room. Hope you all have a wonderful weekend, and thanks for stopping by. Your comments always make me smile!
Hugs~
