Just Us Girls #389 - Color Week

Dear Ones~
This week is color week over at Just Us Girls, and our gal Ina has chosen PEACH, PINK and LEMON as your colors. As always with color challenges, you are to use all three of the chosen colors as well as any neutrals that you need.  Neutrals are white, ivory, kraft, black, brown or gray.

Here's my example:
I have to admit this was a difficult challenge for me. Not because I couldn't come up with a design, but I just could NOT find the perfect combination of peach and pink. All the peach card stock I had looked dirty next to pink. Anyway, this is what I ended up with, take it or leave it. That color combination is gorgeous, I just couldn't find the right papers. I used the SU Petals and Flower Shop stamp sets, stamped the images on colored card stock, then punched them out with companion punches and inked the edges with the same inks I used to stamp.

Here are the Ingredients:
PTI Sweet Blush Card Stock
GKD White Card Stock
Good Old Values Scrappy Chic Patterned Paper
DCWV Mat Stack Pastels Card Stock
GKD Peach Bellini Card Stock
SU Peekabo Peach and Daffodil Delight Inks
GKD Fabulous Flowers Stamp for Greeting
GKD Gold Embossing Powder
Various Punches for Embellishments
Doily Cut with my Cricut
Stash Pearls

Please visit the JUST US GIRLS blog to see the wonderful examples that our Guest Designer Laurie and the rest of the team have made this week. And remember, if you win Chic of the Week in any of our April challenges, you will be in the running to be chosen as our Guest Designer for the month of June!!   Good luck, and I hope to see you there.

Thanks for stopping by, I adore your comments!
They always make me smile!!
