Happily Ever After

Dear Ones~
It has been quite some time since I have posted anything here on the old blog. Grand kids, family reunion, visiting my dad, you name it....life is getting in the way.

Today's offering has been made for the Double D Challenge. Since June is traditionally wedding month, we are invited to create anything that has to do with weddings. Just look at the beautiful Mood Board Diane and Dar have provided for us.

 And here's my card:
I found this awesome svg file for free on SVGCuts.com. It works perfectly with my Cricut Explore Air 2. I have had so much fun with that machine - it amazes me!!! After cutting the pattern and layering on the card front (there are 3 layers), I added a stamped and embossed greeting which I colored with Stampin' Write Markers and cut with an oval die. I added a little silver thread behind the greeting and finally, attached some stash pearls.

Here are the Ingredients:
GKD White Card Stock
SVG File from Stash
SU That's the Tag stamp for Greeting
GKD Silver Embossing Powder
Stampin' Write Markers
SU Nesting Oval Dies
Stash Silver Thread
Stash Pearls

It feels so good to actually do a post again. Hopefully I will find more time now that the flurry of activity has passed. Time will tell. Thanks so much for stopping by, you always leave such lovely comments. I truly appreciate every single one!
Hugs~

  2. This is stunning! I love those layered delicate cuts....WOW! It's a beautiful design reminds me of a Celtic Knot. You can see the pretty colored floral images and all of that sparkle. The silver twine is always a wonderful accent! Gorgeous, Judy! Thanks so much for playing along with us at The Double D 'Wedding' Challenge, Donna, DT Member.

  4. Judy, you've done your cut file background so beautifully! I always like the way they look when layered. The Mr & Mrs inside is very pretty, too, with the embossing and silver thread. Life sure does get in the way of crafting sometimes, but I always feel better if I just let it go, knowing I'll get back to it and enjoy it all the more when I have time. Good to see your gorgeous card in our Wedding Challenge at Double D!

  7. Oh, that is gorgeous! I love the design - it's 3D! The silver string bunched up behind the sentiment is always a beautiful touch, so elegant. And with anniversaries, weddings, showers - this won't be sitting around long at all! Great work, Judy and I'm happy you've had so many family activities to enjoy ♥ !!

  9. Winner! This one looks so complicated and interlocked. You sure it was easy. The silver string behind the oval with the sentiment and a little colors is fabulous.

  10. Such a lovely wedding card! I just finished one about an hour ago and should have come by here first for inspiration. I think the silver floss looks great!
