I am missing my old pals right now!!! You know them....Mo and Jo??? I guess they decided to take a vaca. I'll just have to muddle along without them, but I hope they come back soon.
Today's offering is mostly for the Altenew May Inspiration Challenge. Here is the photo:
YIKES.....I had a terrible time coming up with anything from this photo. It was such a challenge for me. Well, maybe that's why they call this a challenge.
Here's what I came up with:
I love that mosaic, and all those beautiful colors. I finally decided to white heat emboss a background stamp called Faceted, and color it with Brushos. I used a Spellbinders circle die to imitate the brown circle in the photo.

Your background is gorgeous (I don't think I would even know how to use it)AND that big bold beautiful blossom (YAY, I ordered it Monday!) LOVE it! You say they have packed their bags, it must be just a 'feeling' you have because clearly they are IN your craft room!

ReplyDeleteJust where do you think Mo & Jo went? Certainly not anywhere far away - maybe just on your fingertips me thinks. Certainly a tricky one but it is a challenge and you have done an AMAZING job here. I have just bought 2 Altenew stamp sets and can't wait to get them inky when they arrive.

ReplyDeleteYes it is a challenge, Judy, but you met it head on and conquered it. Every detail of your card speaks to the inspiration photo. I helps when you have all those fabulous stamps and dies to work with. ;)
