Angel Friends

Dear Ones~
This is my last post of the day. I am getting ready to have my Dear Sister as a guest for a few days. Can't wait for her to get here, we are gonna play and shop. Traverse City, here we come!!

This card was created for the Stamp TV World Cardmaking Day Challenge. It's Challenge #4, use a stencil on your card.

Here's what I came up with:
I don't have many stencils and don't use them often. So I decided to use a Tim Holtz die by Sizzix called Mixed Media 2. I die cut it on card stock and used it as a stencil. I kinda love the way it turned out.

Here are the Ingredients:
GKD White Card Stock
SU Mint Macaron & Flirty Flamingo Card Stock
SU Blushing Bride Ink
Sizzix Mixed Media 2 Die
GKD Primitive Blessings Stamp Set
SU Layering Layers Circle Framelits
Ranger Platinum Embossing Powder
Stash Punches for Flourishes
Stash Gems and Silver Thread

Okay, I gotta go vacuum. Thanks so much for stopping by, I adore your comments.

  2. Yep, that made a beautiful stencil. I love it when you put the thread behind an image or sentiment. I tried that a couple of times and it was not attractive, but you make me want to try again. Fabulous job, my friend.

  4. I agree with Barbara, the colors are very soft and soothing. Very clever to make a stencil from a die. I love the sentiment, it's so true.

  7. What a lovely sentiment, gorgeous colors. I wouldn't have thought that was a TH stencil, it's too pretty for him, love the big flower in it--great color choice! Your silver twine and 'randomly' placed gems are the perfect accents. So Pretty!
