Dear Ones~
This week it's WILD CARD WEEK over at Just Us Girls! That means it's the fifth Saturday of the month, and anything goes. Our gal Nancy has asked us to do WORD DIE CUTS on our card.
Here's what I came up with:
I wish you could see this card in real life. I have put glitter all over that dream catcher and all the flourishes and things in the background. Try as I might, I could NOT get that glitter to photograph. Boo!!!! It's just beautiful. The word has been die cut from some Hunky Dory Mirri Ombre card stock. I could NOT get it to show up, but it's kind of a wine color. It just looks dark in the photo. I stamped and white heat embossed the dream catcher from GKD onto the HOTP patterned paper. I love all the flourishes and ethereal feel of this background paper.
Here are the Ingredients:
SU Tranquil Tides and Fresh Fig Card Stock
Hunky Dory Mirri Ombre Foil Card Stock
HOTP Twilight Jewels Patterned Paper
GKD Dream Catcher Stamp
Little Yellow Bicycle Dream Die
GKD White Embossing Powder
Stash Gems
Please visit the JUST US GIRLS blog to see the wonderful examples that our September Guest Designer Linda and the rest of the team have made this week. And remember, if you win Chic of the Week in any of our September challenges, you will be in the running to be chosen as our Guest Designer for the month of November!! Good luck, and I hope to see you there.
Thanks for stopping by, I adore your comments!
They always make me smile!!
Hugs~

This is so pretty Judy! I really love your card stock color combo too! Green and wine look great together. I can imagine how truly sparkly this is as it's just gorgeous to me already! Well done! Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteReally pretty! I'm going to have to CASE this for one of my daughter's who loves dream catchers! STUNNING BEAUTY!!!
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful with those colors and the dreamcatcher peeking through with white. I love the metallic Dream sentiment too.
ReplyDeleteI hate to say it but your card is just dreamy, Judy. The background gives me that feel and I can just imagine all the shine.
ReplyDeleteOMGosh Judy this is absolutely dreamy. I love everything about it and can imagine how sparkly and beautiful it is in real life.
ReplyDeleteJudy, this is so pretty. Thanks so much for having me as the GD this month. It was such an honor and so fun.
ReplyDeleteI can see all the glitter!!!! Yay! Stunning! The way you laid the gems pulls the eyes to the sentiment! Beautiful, Judy!
ReplyDeleteI'll bet it is just dreamy. It is just gorgeous even thoughwe can't see all the sparkle.
ReplyDeleteYOWZA! This is one magical card, Judy! I can only image all of that sparkle and shine IRL! WOW! I love the ethereal feel of this beauty too. Oh and for the record, I know what ethereal means, but couldn't put it into words, ya know? So I looked it up and I think the definition describes your creation perfectly: extremely delicate and light in a way that seems too perfect for this world. The end.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely beautiful Judy!! I love, love that beautiful background, sparkle and glitter, a stunner for sure!! And your word die couldn't be any more perfect...have a wonderful Sunday...Oh, and congrats on your new DT gig!!!
ReplyDeleteThe sparkly scroll is an awesome addition to this fabulous card~
ReplyDeleteI just love your dreamy dream catcher and that background is 'so dreamy'. Gorgeous card Judy. Of course you never get to see all the sparkle from a photo and just know it would be 'dreamy' IRL
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card! I can see the glitter on the flourishes, and can imagine what the rest of the glittery goodness looks like in person. Love your pretty border and the dream catcher....lovely card!
ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous! That background is so dreamy looking and so perfect for that beautiful dream catcher. Those the flourishes and that border across the top, too!
ReplyDeleteOMG, where have I been? I must have had my head under the covers, as I have missed so many of your cards lately. This one is not to be missed. I know what you mean by not being able to catch the glitter. This one looks gorgeous and dreamy and love your stary night.
ReplyDeleteOh, I'm so far behind! I saw this card and immediately fell in love with it! My son created a Dream Catcher in school when he was little, and he kept it over his bed until the day we moved, like 20 years later. This card reminds me of that. Love the soft colors and the word die cut. Beautiful!
