Double D - Blue and White Winter

Dear Ones~
This time over at Double D it's a BLUE and WHITE WINTER. I love blue and white, winter not so much. None the less, it's a beautiful challenge. Here's the Mood Board for our inspiration:

And here is my card:

I wanted to do another One Sheet Wonder and was kind of inspired by the pillow in the lower right. If you haven't seen this technique,  HERE is a video for you to watch. Ruth over at Artful Stampin' does some amazing work.  I used my Glimmer Machine for the greeting and did some gold splatters for a final touch.

I stamped my design across the middle of the cardstock.

Then I cut it into 4 panels

Here's the inside. Used my Glimmer Machine for the sentiment too.

The Ingredients:
GKD Blue Denim and White Card Stock

Mod Squad - Handmade Background Focal

 Dear Ones~
Welcome to 2022, I want to wish you all a very happy New Year, dear readers. My offering today is for the first Mod Squad Challenge of the year. I am inviting the participants to create a background with their stamps, and then use it as a focal. No other images are allowed, save a greeting if they wish.

PRIZE

A $20 gift certificate to the Gina K Designs store.

Here's my card:
I recently discovered a gal on YouTube who does fabulous stamped backgrounds. Her technique is one I had not seen before, you can find her work HERE. She calls her panels One Sheet Wonders because she stamps a big sheet and then cuts it apart.

For this background I used several GKD stamp sets and many GKD inks. The stamp sets I used are Something Good, Bloom and Grow and Fearless Joy, all by Lisa Hetrick. The inks I used are Cherry Red, Plum Punch, Dark Sage, Prickly Pear, Jellybean Green and Charcoal Brown. I made the card using GKD Ivory Heavy Weight and Edible Eggplant Card Stock. The greeting die is from A Little Hello Stencil Bundle, and it was cut out with Edible Eggplant Card Stock. The companion shadow die was cut from GKD Vellum. I cut the panels with Master Layouts 1 and Master Layouts 2

I first stamped my pattern on a 8 1/2 x 11 piece of GKD Ivory Card Stock.

Then I cut it into 4 parts. Now I have 4 panels with which I can make 4 cards, all different.

So that's it for me this time. Thanks for stopping by, I always enjoy your comments. And don't forget to swing on over to The Mod Squad Challenge and play along. You could win the prize.

Until next time, here's celebrating your Creative Muse.
