Dies R Us - Tulip Inlay

Dear Ones~
Today on the Dies R Us Inspiration Blog I show how to do some fun inlaying.

Here is my card:
And here's how I made it:

First I die cut the image with black card stock. I love the delicate look of this die.

Next I cut just the flowers again, this time in red, and I saved the "innies".

I adhered the black die cut onto a panel of white card stock and then inlaid the red "innies". This is so much fun, It's like fitting together a puzzle. HIGHLY recommend!!!

Then I cut four corners from the Amy Designs Tulip Frame. These I used as an embellishment along the edge of the white panel. I love the lacy effect.

And this is what it looks like put all together with a little ribbon,
some white gel pen dots, and some pearls.

These are the dies I used:

Dies R Us Frilly Flowers

Dear Ones~
Today I am hosting another Dies R Us Inspiration for you. Today I'm playing with Distress Oxides and the Tutti Frilly Flowers Frame die.
Here is my card:

Here's how I made this card:

First I covered a piece of watercolor paper with Distress Oxides using the smooshing technique.
Next I cut out the image with the Frilly Flower Frame Die.

Then I die cut the image twice more with purple card stock and adhered the 3 layers together for a more dimensional look.

Next I dry embossed the background panel with the Stampin' Up Petal Burst Embossing Folder.

And finally I used a corner punch on the black panel to add interest. Then it was time to put the card all together.

I adhered the black panel onto a piece of white card stock and then to the
GKD Wild Orchid card base, and added some white pearls for interest.

Here is the Tutti Frilly Flower Frame Die I used:
