A Cut Above - APRIL: PASTELS....or not

A Cut Above

Dear Ones~

It's a new month, and time for a new challenge over at  A Cut Above Challenge Blog

Challenges are on a monthly basis and posted on the first Monday of the month at 12:00 AM (Eastern Time) and ending on the 28th of each month 8:00 PM (Eastern Time) with the winner posted on the 30th of that month. The theme is always anything goes with a die cut. However this month there is an extra challenge, and that is to use PASTELS. Or just do anything goes, entirely up to you.

Limit of 3 entries per challenge with each being a different project.

Any project is welcome but MUST HAVE AT LEAST ONE DIE CUT defined by using a die cut machine, not a purchased pre-fabricated die cut. Winner is chosen by random draw, and will receive a $5 gift card to A Cherry On Top Online Store along with a dated badge to display on their craft site.

Here's my card:

I love using pastels, so this one was fun. I printed out a background panel from a digi paper I bought on Etsy. Sorry, I don't remember the artist. The focal is a die set by Altenew called Mini Flower Cluster. It's really fun to put together. The background panel has been embossed with th Spellbinder's Floral embossing folder.

 The Ingredients:
PTI Rustic Ivory Card Stock
Etsy Patterned Paper
Sizzix Winter Wonderland Die Set for Circle
Spellbinders Floral Embossing Folder
Altenew Mini Flower Cluster Die Set
Honey Bee Mini Messages: Everyday Stamp for Greeting

I hope you will jump in and MAKE THE CUT, I can't wait to see what you come up with. Head on over to the A CUT ABOVE BLOG to see what it's all about. And if you play along, you could win a $5 gift card to A Cherry On Top.

Until next time, dear reader, aspire to be inspired.
Here's celebrating your Creative Muse.

  3. Astounding with the gold and the pastels. The mint and peach are a fantastic combination and I love the bow on the wreath. This could be for anyone with that sentiment.

  6. Oh, Judy, your Etsy paper made the most beautiful background, and the flowers are amazing! They do look as though they'd be fun to put together. The mint and peach is mouthwatering, the embossing is just enough, and the gold ring adds a gently elegant pop. Your embellishments and glitter accents are pretty, too!
