Oh My Stars

Dear Ones~
Hello from rainy Michigan. it only got up to 53 today, but the grass is growing like crazy from all the rain we have been having. Sure am thankful that we don't live in Texas right now. Thinking of all my dear friends who call that state home.

Today's offering has been made for the StampTV Monday Challenge. My very dear and over-the-top-talented friend, Barb Campbell, is hosting this week. Check out her blog here. You will love her work. In her challenge she has asked us to make a card with red, white, and blue, using any or all of the colors, and to include a star somewhere on the front. Also entering into the Simon Says Wednesday Challenge, Anything Goes, and The Mod Squad Challenge, hosted by my dear friend Joyce Erb, to do a masculine card.

Here's what I came up with:

LOVE the greeting: "You're pretty much my most favorite of all time in the history of ever". This could apply to all of you reading this blog!!!! XOXO

Here are the Ingredients
GKD Blue Denim, Cherry Red and White Card Stock
GKD Floral Essentials Patterned Paper
GKD My Most Favorite Stamp Set Duo
Nesting Stars Dies from QuickKutz
Mixed Media Die from Sizzix
Recollections Embellies

Thanks so much for stopping by, I adore your comments. Hope you are having a great weekend!!!

  1. Very cool sentiment! Love your pretty papers too.....beautifully done!

  2. SPECTACULAR! I have such a fondness for that beautiful sentiment--and I believe every word of it! Love what you have created, I get the feel of a Norman Rockwell 4th of July kind of picnic including one of those red or blue bandanas....make sense? LOVE this! Hip Hip Hoooooooraaaaaaaay! ;)

  3. The sentiment is so very cool, but the whole card has a very nice feeling to it. Like Donna said, kinda Norman Rockwell. You are a star in my book.

  4. Love the design of this! The star is in perfect location, and I love the red, white & blue!

  5. Love this design. Of course, red white and blue really do look great together but your paper and that sentiment really are special. Love what you did with the white bits and the Judy dots, Are the whit bits rom a die cut? Great card!!

  6. First of all enjoyed your post and like you we are getting some nice rains but nothing overwhelming like in Texas. For that we are so grateful. Now to your outstanding card you created. I just love everything about it. Great dies used on it and love all that bling. Red, white and blue are always a great color combo and on your card it proves that it works wonderfully.

  7. Know what I love about this card besides that great sentiment?? EVERYTHING!! This is fantastic Judy.

  8. What a sweet and heartfelt message! Love your patriotic colors with this sentiment! Thanks so much for playing Simon Says Stamp Wednesday “Anything Goes” Challenge!

  9. Great sentiment and set off perfectly with that gorgeous paper! Brrrr, too cold! Thanks for taking the challenge with us at the <a href="”>Mod Squad Challenge</a>
