Just Us Girls #346 - Word Week

Dear Ones~
This week is Word Week over at Just Us Girls.  Bobby, our host, has chosen the word BIRDS.

I would like to welcome Cornelia Wenokor, our guest designer for the month of June. Go visit her blog to see how over-the-top talented she is. So glad to have her joining us!!

Here Is My Card:
I love this stamp set. It's a multi-step, and there are so many possibilities with this one!! For the top part of the wing I did some rock and roll stamping.

 Here are the Ingredients:
GKD Cherry Red and Blue Raspberry Card Stock
Stampin' Up Hardwood Background Stamp
Hero Arts Color Layering Dimensional Bird Stamp Set
Various GKD Inks
Stickles
Nuvo Crystal Drops

Please visit the JUST US GIRLS blog to see the wonderful cards that our June Guest Designer Cornelia, and the rest of the team have made this week.  I hope to see you there.
And remember, if you win Chic of the Week in any of our June challenges, you will be in the running to be chosen as our Guest Designer for the month of August!!
Good luck, and thanks for stopping by!!

  2. Your card is magnificent! Love the woodgrain background and your fabulous bird, must be a make, aye? :) The colors really POP and the rock n' roll technique adds so much depth and texture, just like feathers! The layered colors are really delightful! If I knew what they ate I'd buy a big bag of it to attract them to my yard for sure!!!

  18. Oh My word! I missed this one. Glad that I was able to add my comment before the challenge is over. This is a beautiful colorful bird. Very folksey (if that is a word). Like a comforting patchwork quilt. I mean this is a good way.
