Double D - Friendship

Dear Ones~
This time over at Double D we are thinking about FRIENDSHIP! So many ways to express this wonderful subject!!

Here is the Mood Board for our inspiration:

 And here is my card:
I absolutely ADORE this image by Mo's Digital Pencil. It always makes me think of our daughter, Sarah. She wore her hair in piggy tails like that when she was little. And the sweet dog looks just like our beloved Libby who lives with us now. I had so much fun coloring this with my Prismas. The dog was a challenge - shading is a bugger with animals I think. I wish I could have gotten more contrast between the light and dark.
For a final touch I put little dots on "Sarah's" panties with a Signo Gel Pen. Adds a little pop to the look.

Here are the Ingredients:
GKD White, Turquoise Sea and Jelly Bean Card Stock
Mo's Digital Pencil Image "Buds"
Prismacolor Colored Pencils
Hot Off the Press Janie's Friends Stamp for Greeting
Hot Off the Press Heart Dazzles
White Signo Gel Pen

I would love it if you would stop on over to the Double D Blog to see what the other designers have created. And if you play along you could win this awesome die set!

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you are having a great week. Don't forget to swing by Double D and check us out.  Oh, and I so appreciate your lovely comments!!!
Hugs~
