Double D - October

 Dear Ones~

Time for another Double D Challenge. This time our challenge is October - that's it - just OCTOBER. Here is the Mood Board provided for our inspiration:

And here is my card:

Of course I had to do a pumpkin. After all, when I think of October I think of all things pumpkin - pie, Halloween, pie, and also pie. I decided to use a Stampin' Up background die called Buffalo Plaid. It's one of my favorite images, but oh so hard to stamp. I left it a little rustic instead of trying to get a solid look.

Here are the Ingredients:

  • SU Cajun Craze Card Stock
  • Recollections Ivory Card Stock
  • GKD Kraft Card Stock
  • SU Terracotta Tile Ink
  • SU Buffalo Plaid Background Stamp
  • Inkadinkado Autumn Splendor Stamp Set
  • Concord & 9th Layering Leaf Dies
  • Spellbinder Fall Leaves Card Creator
  • SU Forever Flourishes Dies
  • SU Stitched Circle Die
  • SU 3D Basket Weave Embossing Folder
  • Stash Twine

If you head on over to the  Double D Challenge Blog and play along, you could win this adorable die set. And don't forget to check out all the beautiful cards the other designers have created for your inspiration.

  1. Fabulous card Judy and what a great pumpkin it is (glad you got on the card before you made it into PIE lol). The background looks great rustic and I have trouble with all my plaid stamps even when using the platform, but I love your rustic look, it's perfect!! Thanks for going to "BAT" for Two Old Bats too!!

  13. Hello Judy Woodland! You have the perfect name for Autumn! Thank you for the sweet comments on my blog and I was so inspired by your team make. Love everything about it and the plaid is so eye-catching, too, as well as the more subtle weave going on behind the pumpkin! XOX
