Mod Squad Challenge - All About Love

Dear Ones~ I am once again hosting over at The Mod Squad Challenge, and this time I am inviting you to include the word LOVE on your creation. February is the month of LOVE, so I thought this would be appropriate.

 SPONSOR

Gina K. has been in the stamping industry since 1998 and started Gina K. Designs in 2007. As the business grew, Gina asked her husband Tom to leave his position as an attorney to join her in the business. Together they built StampTV, an online video website featuring broadcast quality paper crafting videos, galleries, a social network for paper crafters and more! Since then they have created a new website called Gina K Designs. Gina now has over 200,000 followers over her various social media networks and video sites from all around the world. Gina’s goal is to continue to offer top quality signature products through her online store Gina K. Designs, along with informative and creative crafting videos. There is also a monthly card challenge, where you have 3 chances to win a $25 gift certificate. Visit that HERE.

PRIZE

A $20 gift certificate to the Gina K Designs store.

Here is my sample:

I began by stamping the GKD background stamp Diagonal Stripes with GKD Obsidian Amalgam Ink on GKD White Card Stock. On another white panel I stenciled the background behind the floral spray in GKD Slate Ink with the GKD Festive Stencil. Then I applied Iridescent Glitz Glitter Gel to the GKD Sun Spots Stencil over top of that for some interest. The florals and LOVE die are all from the GKD A Little Love Layering Stencil Bundle. GKD Inks used for the stenciled flowers and leaves are Red Velvet, Cherry Red, Red Hot, Jelly Bean Green, Grass Green and Christmas Pine. The whole panel was mounted on the striped background and then onto some GKD Black Onyx Card Stock

Here's a closer look at that background. I love how it turned out with the Glitz Glitter Gel. And that Slate Ink is such a beautiful color. A touch of red on the leaves adds interest.

Glad you stopped by, and don't forget to head on over to The Mod Squad Challenge Blog and play along. You could win the prize! I can't wait to see your wonderful creations, and I adore your comments.

I hope you all are well and staying away from others as much as possible. These are strange times, aren't we glad we have our craft to keep us sane?

Until next time, here's celebrating your Creative Muse.

  2. Just look at all of that pretty background and then you added the flowers and the leaves. Outstanding and so pretty. I have not ordered any Gina K stamps for a long time, but this one caught my eye. Isn't it fun to work with and the cards are so pretty. I admit that I wanted that die cut LOVR, but the stencil were a nice surprise. You have done a wonderful job o this one.
