Dear Ones~
Welcome to the FABULOUS
Our Double D Challenge Blog has been invited to participate in a HUGE blog hop and there are so many wonderful Challenge Blogs participating. We are in very elite and creative company! Here they are:
The purpose of this hop is to bring an awareness of all the CHALLENGE BLOGS out there. It's wonderful to have all the information in one spot. It is my great good pleasure, along with
my Double D Teamies, to be able to share my creations using fabulous
Altenew products with you. Here is what I have come up with:
Altenew is famous for their wonderful layered floral dies and I really enjoyed using this Craft-a-Flower Tulip die set. I don't have any Altenew card stock, so I took some white and colored it with Altenew Inks. I just smeared the ink cube all over the paper. Worked pretty well. The pattern behind the circle is a really fun multi layering stamp set by Altenew called Pattern Power. There are several different patterns in this set, and when stamped multiple times in different positions with different colors of ink they give a unique 3D effect. The greeting was stamped with Espresso Ink and fussy cut.
The Ingredients:
Kraft and White Card Stock
Altenew Inks In: Sand Dunes, Rocky Shore, Mocha, Espresso, Sweet Leaf, Hunter Green, Blush, Coral Bliss, Rouge
Altenew Craft-a-Flower Tulip Die Set
Altenew Pattern Power Stamp Set
Altenew Golden Feather Stamp Set for Greeting
Spellbinders Classic Circle Die
Here is another card I did as well:
This one is really classic Altenew. They are well known for their beautiful floral illustrations which lend themselves very well to coloring, so I thought I would do this simple card. I just stamped the several floral images on Bristol, using masking to layer the flowers and leaves. Then I colored the resulting image with Zigs.
The Ingredients:
White Bristol Card Stock
Altenew Wallpaper Art Stamp Set
Altenew Build-a-Flower Anemone Stamp Set for Greeting
Stash Striped Patterned Paper
Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens
Altenew Jet Black Dye Ink

ReplyDeleteTwo beautiful entries. Great idea to use the inks to color the paper to get the shades of pink. Just beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI love the colors you used on the tulips, Judy. I think coloring your own paper works well with the Craft-a-Flowers. Your Wallpaper Art flowers are gorgeous. I love the dark red with the black and white stripes.
