Mod Squad - Pretty Poinsettias

Dear Ones~

This time over at The Mod Squad the theme is POINSETTIAS. I love the GKD stamp set called Perfect Poinsettias, so I was anxious to share it for the challenge.

Together they built StampTV, an online video website featuring broadcast quality paper crafting videos, galleries, a social network for paper crafters and more! Since then they have created a new website called Gina K Designs. Gina now has over 200,000 followers over her various social media networks and video sites from all around the world. Gina’s goal is to continue to offer top quality signature products through her online store Gina K. Designs, along with informative and creative crafting videos. There is also a monthly card challenge, where you have 3 chances to win a $25 gift certificate. Visit that HERE.

PRIZE

A $20 gift certificate to the Gina K Designs store.

Here's my card:

For this card I used the GKD Perfect Poinsettia Stamp Set and Companion Dies. The greeting was created with the Peace and Shadow Die Set. The background was created with the GKD Festive Stencil using my GKD Blending Brushes and some Moonlit Fog Ink. I store the brushes in the GKD Brush Caddy Stand. After I stenciled the background I used a portion of the poinsettia stamp set to stamp over the stenciling with GKD Watermark and Embossing Ink, and then heat embossed with Fine Detail Silver Embossing Powder. I used the Master Layouts 2 Die Set to cut the background panels, and the Master Layouts 1 Die Set to cut the ovals. The images were stamped with Dusty Rose, Passionate Pink, Cherry Red and Moonlit Fog Inks. Card stocks used were GKD White Heavy Weight and stash silver.  To add some bling I used Trinity Stamps Satin Silver Baubles here and there.

Thanks for stopping by, I always enjoy your comments. And don't forget to swing on over to The Mod Squad Challenge and play along. You could win the prize.

Until next time, here's celebrating
your Creative Muse.
Hugs,
