Dear Ones~
This time over at Double D it's a BLUE and WHITE WINTER. I love blue and white, winter not so much. None the less, it's a beautiful challenge. Here's the Mood Board for our inspiration:
And here is my card:
I wanted to do another One Sheet Wonder and was kind of inspired by the pillow in the lower right. If you haven't seen this technique, HERE is a video for you to watch. Ruth over at Artful Stampin' does some amazing work. I used my Glimmer Machine for the greeting and did some gold splatters for a final touch.
I stamped my design across the middle of the cardstock.
Then I cut it into 4 panels
Here's the inside. Used my Glimmer Machine for the sentiment too.

ReplyDeleteOh my goodness Judy, this is stunning! I would love to have pillows made out of fabric like your card front. The gold splatters add the perfect touch of elegance to this card. I think I have some stamps that I could try this technique on. I'm off to watch the video and hopefully give this a try today. Thanks for always inspiring us!
ReplyDeleteAs soon as I saw this card even before I read your post, I said.... I wonder if this is another great one sheet wonder? Sure enough it was. You are amazing and these four cards have worked out so well. I am so jelly that you used your glimmer for the inside. Love!
ReplyDeleteWow, gorgeous cards, Judy! What an great idea for stamping backgrounds in numbers. I love all of the layered images in different shades of blue. Spectacular!
ReplyDeleteOooh, there are so many beautiful choices on the mood board, and your interpretation is utterly gorgeous! Love the flecks of gold and how you added the snowflakes to today's card. It's nice how you can start with the one sheet, then add more to customize an individual card. I really need to look at my stamps for this. I did something similar with Forever Fern, but would love some flowers. So beautiful in the blues. Awesome card, Judy!
ReplyDeleteI love the mix of flowers, leaves and snowflakes on your one sheet wonder, Judy. It's very mixed media and so wonderful.
ReplyDeleteWow! This is just the perfect winter birthday card design and I love the way you got 4 card panels from one stamping. I need to give this a try too, as I'm trying to make multiples lately. I donate cards, and am in a couple of birthday card RAK groups so need to up my card making game for 2022.
ReplyDeleteOh Judy this is sensationally super beautiful. So love how this looks magnificant. Lovely in the blue tones and Thanks for the link. Great technique.
