Dear Ones~
There's a new challenge over at Can You Handle the Pressure. For this challenge blog you MUST use an EMBOSSING FOLDER
on your project. Heat embossing (with embossing powder) is permitted but only IN ADDITION to your embossing folder design. Each new challenge will have a
'TWIST' which is optional ... your choice to use or not.The OPTIONAL TWIST for today's challenge is:
RAINBOWS
Here's my card:
While this isn't a traditional RAINBOW card, I used rainbow colors on the flowers, and I found the perfect greeting. I first did some ink blending with GKD inks (colors listed below) and then die cut the elements from the ink blended papers.
This die set is from the 2023 February Small Die of the Month from Spellbinders. It was rather labor intensive to die cut all the elements, but very fun to put together.

ReplyDeleteLovely card and design, very unique way to use the rainbow colors. Now as far as all those tiny pieces go, you have a lot more patience than I do!!!

Another pretty and clever design coming out of your stamp room! I love the non-traditional twist on the rainbow along with the embossed background and beautiful song lyrics. I can see how labor intensive this die set is but you did an amazing job with it.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card Judy, a beautiful way to display a rainbow!! I didn't know you belonged to the small die club, I used to belong to the large and small die value club, but now just the 3D EB folder club, gee I wonder why LOL!!
