Double D - PICK THREE

Dear Ones~
We have a fun new challenge over at Double D. It's called PICK THREE.  It's June, and that brings thoughts of weddings. For the challenge we can choose three from something OLD, something NEW, something BORROWED,  and/or something BLUE. Example: it can be an old stamp, die, paper etc, or new of the same, or something borrowed from another crafter and/or something blue, just have fun with it! I chose something OLD, something NEW and something BLUE. Here is the Mood Board for our inspiration:

This is my sample:
I really enjoyed making this card. I used a very old GKD stamp by Melanie Muenchinger called Inspiration Mosaic and stamped it on some old patterned paper. I used several new stamps in the various squares using the masking technique, so fun to do. That bee stamp and the die cuts are new as well.

The Ingredients:
GKD White and Turquoise Sea Card Stock - Something BLUE
GKD Black Onyx Ink
GKD Turquoise Sea Ink
GKD Inspiration Mosaic - Something OLD
PS Floral Farmhouse Patterned Paper - OLD
Elizabeth Crafts Love & Roses Stamp Set - Something NEW
Elizabeth Crafts Travel & Postage Stamp Set - Something NEW
Spellbinders Simply Perfect Layered Blooms Die Set
Trinity Stamps Silver Baubles
Stickles

If you head on over to the  Double D Challenge Blog and play along, you could win this beautiful paper pack. What a wonderful prize!!!  Also, don't forget to check out all the beautiful cards the other designers have created.

Until next time dear readers, aspire to be inspired.
Here's celebrating your Creative Muse!!

  1. Oh Judy, this is stunning!!! The monochromatic tones and details are superb! The choices you made for stamping the inside of each tile fit and coordinate perfectly together. The pearls and glitter are the cherry on top!

  2. Gorgeous card, Judy! Beautiful shade of turquoise and very nice collage image. You made that bee look so elegant! The shaded inking around the sentiment looks amazing and I just love those silver baubles!

  4. I have that inspiration stamp for long ago, but you have really put it to great use on this card. It reminds me of the newer postage stamp die. Once again you have used new and old together to make a fantastic card. I love the blue, I think it is my favorite. This card has an antique look but without the drab inks.

  5. Gosh that mosiac stamp has been around awhile. I think I still have mine but not 100 percent sure. As for your card, it's a show stopper. That bee is to die for. Hugs!
