Dear Ones~
This
time over at Double D the challenge is TO SPOOK OR NOT. Either Halloween or October Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Here is the Mood Board for our inspiration:
This is my card:
I had some fun with this one. I sponged the background in pink in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The ghost is fussy cut from some patterned paper I bought on Amazon, but I think the star of the show are those cute little bats from Lavinia Stamps. I saw them and just had to have them - they just make me smile. The moon is a 3-part stencil by Picket Fence Studio. Oh, and some white splatters were involved as well.
The Ingredients:
GKD White and Black Onyx Card Stock
SU Melon Mambo Card Stock
Distress Inks In:
Picked Raspberry
Kitch Flamingo
Mustard Seed
GKD Whisper Ink
Picket Fence Mini Haunted Moon Stencil

SU Seasonal Layers Stamp Set for Branch

Echo Park 2 Cute 2 Spook Stamp for Greeting

Wow! Great eye catching card for this challenge. I love that ghost and the hanging bats. Brilliant that you made a pink shaded background. I love it all.
ReplyDeleteThat was me , Barb!
ReplyDeleteAn awesome card that I absolutely love every single detail about it and I might just 'have to' have those bats too, I have nothing like them and they are so cool, and LOVE that splattered pink background, you are so clever!!
ReplyDeleteLove that gorgeous pink inked background, looks AHmazing! It's stunning! The fussy cut ghost is so fun and those creepy yet cute bats are too!--they seem to be staring into my soul lol This is awesome!!!
ReplyDeleteThe first thing that caught my attention was the moon. I might need to add those stencils to my stash. The bats are darling, (if bats can be called that) and the little ghost too. This is a faboolous card Judy!
ReplyDeleteHmmmm...... anonymous? This is Birgit. ;0)
DeleteSpectacular design! I love the pink background and that glowing moon. The hanging bat silhouettes look awesome in the light of the moon. That's a cool looking ghost too.
ReplyDeleteWell aren't you the clever one combining both theme ideas! This is awesome and I too love those hanging bats! But that ghost looks like it's about to come off the card to get me! Eeek! lol Great job!!
ReplyDeleteOooh, love your background for this eerie, but cute creation! Those bats are way cool. I do love my Lavinia stamps, but do not have any for Halloween. This is fabulous, Judy!
