Dear Ones~ There's a new challenge over at Can You Handle the Pressure. For this challenge blog you MUST use an EMBOSSING FOLDER on your project. Heat embossing (with embossing powder) is permitted but only IN ADDITION to your embossing folder design. Each new challenge will have a 'TWIST' which is optional ... your choice to use or not.
The OPTIONAL TWIST for today's challenge is:
WINTER
This is my card:
Isn't this little guy the cutest? He just makes me smile. The background is a gorgeous embossing folder by Simon called Filigree Snowflakes. It's one of my favorites. Here I embossed it with GKD Powder Blue cardstock (a color I don't use often) and then took white pigment ink to lightly drag across it. Such a good technique for getting the pattern to pop. I fussy cut the snowman's hat and scarf with patterned paper, always fun to do.
The Ingredients:
GKD White, Powder Blue & Silver Cardstock
SSS Filigree Snowflake Embossing Folder
Gerda Steiner Designs Snowman Friends Stamp
GKD White Pigment Ink
GKD Patterned Paper for Hat & Scarf
GKD All At Once - Holiday Season Stamp
SU Snowfall Thinlits Die for Snowflake
Stash Ribbon
