Dear Ones~
I am excited to announce that I have been invited to sit on the Design Team for the wonderful A Cut Above Challenge Blog. It is an honor and pleasure to be a part of this fun challenge blog.
Challenges are on a monthly basis
and posted on the first Monday of the month at 12:00 AM (Eastern Time)
and ending on the 28th of each month 8:00 PM (Eastern Time) with the winner
posted on the 30th of that month. The theme is always anything goes with a die cut. However, this month there is an option, which is NEW. You can use something NEW, celebrate the NEW Year, or just do anything goes. Entirely up to you.
Limit of 3 entries per challenge with each being a different project.
Any project is welcome but MUST HAVE AT LEAST ONE DIE CUT defined by using a die cut machine, not a purchased pre-fabricated die cut. Winner is chosen by random draw, and will receive a $5 gift card to A Cherry On Top Online Store along with a dated badge to display on their craft site. Here is my card:
The NEW on my card is that lovely circle die called Picot Petite Circles by Spellbinders. I recently purchased it and had not yet used it. I think it's just so pretty. Lots of die cuts on this card, and I really enjoyed creating it, but not happy it's a sympathy card. And I love that cute little moth, he's one of my favorite dies from Spellbinders Layered Summer Flowers.
The Ingredients:
GKD White Card Stock
Recollections Pink Card Stock
Spellbinders Mandala Blooms Embossing Folder
Spellbinders Picot Petite Circles Die
Sizzix Layered Summer Flowers
Spellbinders Summer Label Motifs for Moth
Stampin' Up Layered Circles
Stickles
I
hope you will jump in and MAKE THE CUT!! This is going to be fun and I
can't wait to see what you all come up with. So head on over to the A CUT ABOVE BLOG to see what it's all about. And if you play along, you could win a $5 gift card from A Cherry On Top.
Until next time, dear reader, aspire to be inspired.
Here's celebrating your Creative Muse.

ReplyDeleteVery pretty, and elegant these cards can be hard to make sometimes, and this is gorgeous. Love the colors and the embossing along with these dies. Look forward to creating with you on ACA. Have a great day! Leanne
ReplyDeleteWell I am not surprised and Vicki was lucky to get you. Your card is so sweet and I love how you combined these die cuts to make this card. That Mandella blooms embossing folder goes so well with your new die cut circle.
ReplyDeleteOhhh, just look how beautiful this is! I'm excited for you to be on this team because that's one more of your beautiful cards I get to see each month. I love this one with the flowers arranged on the picot circle, and the moth is probably my favorite of all! What a lovely balance of beauty you have here. I have the original Spellbinders Picot Edge Circles, and you just reminded me that I still love them and will have to bring them out to play soon.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! One more Design Team should keep you out of trouble lol This is gorgeous and makes for such a lovely Sympathy card--so sorry the need for one. Beautiful florals, love the sweet little moth, can a moth be sweet? And your pretty new dies! Fantastic! Congrats again! Happy New Year!
