Dear Ones~
This
time the challenge over at Double D is BOOKS/BOOKMARK or POSTAL/POSTAGE. Lots of possibilities with this one. Here's
the Mood
Board for our inspiration.
This is my sample:
I used a fabulous embossing folder by Spellbinders called Postage Mosaic. It's gorgeous, with so many possibilities. I cut out the individual stamps. Kraft card stock was used, with white ink over the image to make it pop. I added some white gel pen to pop everything even more, and then finished off with Rangers Enamel Accents in white. I just LOVE kraft with white, don't you?? I took a vintage book page and tore it up, layering it on the background for a shabby chic look.
The Ingredients:
PTI Rustic Card Stock
Recollections Kraft Card Stock
Vintage Book Page
Spellbinders Postage Mosaic Embossing Folder
Hero Arts Postage Stamp Nesting Dies
Waffle Flower Postage Collage Stamp Set
SSS Everyday Sentiments for Greeting
Walnut Stain Distress Ink

So beautifully creative, haven't seen this EB folder before so had to go and check it out, I loved how you have used it, so pretty and perfect!!
ReplyDeleteVery eye catching design Judy. The white on kraft really makes the details on the embossing pop. I love the layered collage of stamps and creative background. There's so much dimension on this creation. I need to check out that EF too. We are all such enablers!
ReplyDeleteI adore all of that pretty white on Kraft, and it all does POP and looks fantastic! (plus it reminds me of iced Holiday cookies lol) Loving all of the postage stamp elements and the background stamping! Simply Fab!
ReplyDeleteOMG this is so so pretty! Love the white on kraft and like Diane, I have never seen that embossing folder and will have to look into it (for my collection lol). You've certainly brought it to life with this beauty! Well done my friend ... very inspiring!
ReplyDeleteI have this embossing folder, but I love what you have done to it. I may have steal this idea. That vintage look is just right and I love that you went a step further and took a page out of an old book and used it as the background. I am pinning.
ReplyDeleteVery creative, Judy, and so detailed. Love it!
ReplyDeleteAwesome design with the variety of postage stamps! Beautiful colors too!
ReplyDeleteGeez, how do I not have this embossing folder? I LOVE it, and your card is absolutely brilliant with the combination of postage elements and the book page. Oh, and I have that old SB Floral Flourishes set and still use it now and then. It makes a perfect accent. Every element is thoughtfully placed and perfectly balanced. Beautiful, Judy!
ReplyDeleteLovely and beautiful design, full of gorgeousness as always ♥
