Girly Deer

Dear Ones~
Good morning, hope this post finds you all well! Today I'm showing you a card I made for the Mod Squad Challenge. My good friend Karen Hightower charged us this week with making a card that you would ordinarily do as masculine, but make it with a feminine flair. Well now, THAT'S interesting!!!! So here's what I came up with:
Haha!! Well, it's different, I have to say that. I received this stamp set awhile ago after I won over at Simon Says Stamp. It was just the ticket for this fun and non-traditional challenge. I stamped the deer silhouette with pink ink and fussy cut it to "mount" on that oval die cut. Not sure this "mount" is one I would hang on the

Here are the supplies I used:
Gina K Designs White Pure Luxury Card Stock
DCWV  Pastels Card Stock
Emma's Garden Patterned Paper by Jennifer Ellony
Simon Says Stamp Oh Dear Stamp Set by Kelly Purkey
Gina K Designs Bubblegum Pink Ink
Floral Ovals Die by Spellbinders

So that's it for me. Gotta go to town and buy a carrot. Then maybe I'll head for my craft room again. It's rainy here today, but warm again. So nice to have the doors open. Enjoy your day my friends, and thanks for stoppin' by!

  1. Cute and clever. And, full of humor too. This is so exciting to see what everyone comes up with!

  2. Judy Judy, My Dear Judy… I love your writing. I giggled when I read the end about the carrot. LOL. OK… I love your non traditional card. Wonderful colors and love all the layers. Great job with the dear head. :)
Thanks so much for playing along this week in the challenge. <3 Remember You were my inspiration for this challenge…

  3. Is that a pink Moose? Haha! Very clever and too funny. Love the pink bow in the antler too!

  4. Love your pink deer and the bow on the antler! Beautiful background paper too!

  5. Oh that's awesome! I love the pink Moose and those gorgeous flowers! And like Sharyn, that bow on her antlers is oh so cute! Pretty die too! Great card for a great challenge!
