For Dad

Dear Ones~
Once again, it's been awhile since I posted anything. My life has been so crazy this summer. But I guess everyone can say that. And we are getting ready to go up to the UP to camp on Lake Superior for a few weeks, so there's that. We have a small fifth wheel that we take up there to do some fall camping. I'm looking forward to it, but I fear it's gonna be a tad on the cool side this year. I'll let ya know.

Today's card was made for my dad, who will turn 96 in a few weeks. The challenge over at Mod Squad this week is to do a masculine birthday card. Well howdy, and SHAZAAM!!! What a serendipity!

Here's my card:
I just LOVE this pine cone image from the GKD Stately Flowers 6 stamp set.

Here are the materials I used:
GKD Navy, White and Kraft Card Stock
GKD Stately Flowers 6 Stamp Set
Copic Markers

That's it for me today. I adore your comments! Thanks for leaving me some love, and thanks for stopping by.

  1. I love the pine cone stamp. It makes a great masculine card....well done. Happy Birthday to your Dad!

  2. That pinecone really looks so nice on a masculine card. You have used some different colors here on this one and it is so clever. Love your coloring and your Judy dots. Happy, amazing 96th birthday to your dad.

  3. Perfect masculine card my friend. Love that pinecone stamp and as usual your coloring is absolute perfection. Happy birthday to your dad. Wishing you great camping weather :)

  4. 96!!! Those are some really great genes! Happy Birthday toy our Dad! <3 Love, love, love this card, and that pinecone. You always use it so well, to really showcase the beauty of it! Fabulous colors and design, VERY masculine and well it is just perfect!
