Make It Monday - Spritz Stamps

Dear Ones~

I have another offering for you today. It seems that I have had some time to play, and it's been a joy to make a couple of cards.

This one is for Papertrey Ink's Make It Monday. This week we are invited to do a technique where you ink up your stamp, spritz it with water, then stamp on watercolor paper. Or maybe some other paper......try anything and see what works.

Here's my card:

I used a Papertrey Ink stamp set called Flower Favorites. love this Lupine image. I inked it up with two colors of ink, spritzed and stamped, then inked with a darker color of ink and spritzed and stamped again. It's so much fun to see what artsy look you can get with this technique.

Here are the Ingredients:
SU Rich Razzleberry Card Stock
GKD Jellybean Green Card Stock
Strathmore Watercolor Paper
SU Inks in-
*Sweet Sugarplum
*Perfect Plum
*Flirty Flamingo
*Pear Pizzazz
*Wild Wasabi
GKD Black Onyx Ink
Craftsmith Flower Market Patterned Paper

Thanks for stopping by again, I always adore your comments. We are almost halfway through the week, and halfway through the month.  My summer is going by far too fast. We will be going North at the end of August for several weeks, no card making for me then. Whatever will I DO???

  2. Very pretty card, Judy! Forgot about that stamp set. How come so many of my favorite sets are florals, and I don't own this one?

  3. Phenomenal card! Your colors are so brilliant and pleasing. This technique is so much fun and it looks like a watercolor masterpiece. Take your coloring book on vacation and when you return, those pages that you colored, will make beautiful cards.
