Just Us Girls #375 - Word Week

 Dear Ones~
After a brief holiday hiatus over at Just Us Girls, we are back with a new challenge. This week is WORD WEEK, and our gal Ina has chosen the word NEW.  Most of us crafters have received at least one new thing for Christmas, so we are inviting you to use it to make a card.

Here's my card:
My Dear Hubby gifted me with a new Cricut Explore Air 2 for Christmas!!! Needless to say I was blown away - I ADORE this machine. I haven't even touched the surface regarding what it can do. I cut that pretty doily in the background....look how intricate. I'm just THRILLED!!! Also new is the die set from PTI called Noted: Scallop A2 Die Collection. It cut out that wonderful scalloped note card.

Here are the Ingredients:
Circut Edge to Edge Cartridge
SU Detail Dragon Fly Thinlits
PTI Noted A2 Scallop Die
SSS Handwritten Borders Stamp
KaiserCraft Limelight Patterned Paper

I would like to welcome our January Guest Designer, Shawna Standish. Her work is AH-MAZING!!! Check out her BLOG and see what I mean!!!

Please visit the JUST US GIRLS blog to see the wonderful cards that Shawna and the rest of the team have made this week. And remember, if you win Chic of the Week in any of our January challenges, you will be in the running to be chosen as our
Guest Designer for the month of  March!!
Good luck, and I hope to see you there.

  4. Enjoy your new toy, Judy. I've all but given up on my Cricut and I won a small Silhouette and never learned how to use it. I love that large dragonfly sitting atop your newly cut doily.

  15. Glorious! Another fabulous doily....may have to check out your old toy, but I guess that would mean selling my Cameo, hmmm... I love how you sponged it with ink, lighter to dark, so pretty! Beautiful die and awesome dragonfly for whatever reason they were abundant at our resort, they are quite magical I think! FAB card, my friend!
