Flowers, Flower Everywhere

Dear Ones~
Hope this finds you enjoying your Memorial Day holiday.

Today's offering has been created for the Double D Challenge. This time we are invited to include multiple flowers on our creation. Here are the tiles they have provided us for inspiration. I think all the photos are just lovely!!

Here's my card:
I stamped the images from GKD's stamp set Wild Blossoms, attached the matted panel to my card base, and then overlaid the whole front with vellum. I love the soft look it created. I have used some of the new In Colors from Stampin' Up. I'm really warming up to them, it was super fun to stamp this panel. I die cut the butterfly from some glitter paper that matched that gorgeous Berry Burst color, and die cut the "hello" with a Tranquil Tide and Berry Burst card stock and then stacked them together.

Here are the Ingredients:
GKD White Card Stock
SU Berry Burst Card
Tranquil Tide Card
SU Inks In:
*Berry Burst
Tranquil Tide
*Blushing Bride
GKD Wild Blossoms Stamps
Die-namics Happy Hello Die
SU Bold Butterfly Thinlits
Paper Studio Glitter Stack
Clear Crystal Drops

Thanks for stopping by, I appreciate your comments so much! It has been sunny here most of the day, perfect for putting something on the grill. Have a great week and I hope to see you back here soon. My computer has been acting up, so I fear I will be taking it to the Apple Hospital tomorrow for a check up. I may be out of commission for a few days.

Hugs,
~judy~

  1. Whoa! This is such a dreamy looking card. I love the cascade of flowers under the vellum and the striking contrast of the sentiment and butterfly. Looks great with underlying panels bordered with the same colors.

  6. BEAUTIFUL!!! With the vellum and clear drops over those beautiful flowers this gives off the feel and scent of a soft spring rain. The die cut sentiment and butterfly are the perfect touch.

  7. Thank you, Judy. I am STILL numb, lost about making sympathy cards for our sis in law and their kids. I haven't made anything, just can't. I knew vellum would be a part but didn't know how. Your card has FINALLY given me some inspiration to deal with the pain. Thank you ♥
