Mod Squad - The Old Stamping Ground

Dear Ones~
This time over at The Mod Squad I am sitting in for Joyce Erb and hosting the challenge. My challenge is to create a BACKGROUND USING STAMPS.

SPONSOR

Tupelo Designs LLC
Melissa strives to bring the highest quality products to the craft industry (our dies are 100% steel – and our stamps are the best quality photopolymer, all made and packaged in the USA!). Customer satisfaction is our #1 priority and we work hard to bring our customers the top-notch quality, unparalleled customer service, and the utmost care in every single package that leaves our warehouse.

PRIZE

$25 to use at the Honey Bee Stamps store!

Here's my card:
This card was made with one of the stamp sets from the new Spring Product Release. There are many new stamp sets and dies in the release, so go check it out!! This set is called My Tribe, and it comes with companion dies. Several of the images were stamped randomly on white card stock, and then heat embossed with black embossing powder. They were then colored with watercolors, and enhanced with a gold gel pen. The greeting was white heat embossed on black card stock and the little feathers were attached with a decorative brad. The gold thread was adhered behind the greeting banner for a final embellishment.

Here are the Ingredients:
GKD White, Black and Tranquil Teal Card Stock
Honey Bee My Tribe Stamp Set
My Tribe Die Set
Hero Arts Liquid Water Colors
Kaiser Craft Gold Gel Pen

Here is another card I made with this stamp and die set:
For this card I stamped and die cut the image for the border, and then die cut the shape again with black and teal card stock. Then I layered them for a dimensional look. The embossed background is done with a SU Softly Falling embossing folder. The image was again colored with watercolors.

Thanks for stopping by, and don't forget to head on over to The Mod Squad Challenge and play along. You could win the prize! I can't wait to see your wonderful creations, and I adore your comments.
Hugs~
