Good Monday morning. Today I am sharing some inspiration over at the Dies R Us Inspiration Blog. I have a pretty card using the Lavinia Stamps Fairy Thistle stamp, and some wonderful Dies R Us products.
Check it out:
I love Lavinia Stamps. All the images are sweet and very ethereal. First
I stamped the Fairy Thistles on a panel of patterned paper. Then I
dotted the image with Deco Foil Liquid Adhesive, let it dry, applied
transfer foil, and rubbed. The foil sticks to the tacky dried adhesive
and we come away with beautiful, shiny gold beads of foil.
Here's a close up of that foiling technique. I LOVE the result, just think of all the possibilities!!!
For the details on how I made this card, and for links to all the Dies R Us supplies I used,

ReplyDeleteWhat a nice post to look at after a busy day. I love the fairy thistles and have never seen anything like that. Then you added the foil, very clever. That die on the edge is amazing used like that. I love everything about this one.
ReplyDeleteYou know how much I love 'thistles' and Lavinia has some beauties and I love mine as well as my traditional ones. What you achieved here is beeeeeeeeeautiful Judy. Love the colour choice and DP. Wow to the foiling. Haven't got into that. Gorgeous edged die.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful papers and that gorgeous stamp! WOW! That Rose Gold Paper and that fantastic edge die look amazing! This is pure magic!
ReplyDeleteThe thistles look great with the patterned paper, Judy, and the gold filigree separating them is beautiful.
