This time over at Double D we are playing with HEARTS. Easy, peasy, right? And just look at all the lovely hearts on this Mood Board for our inspiration:
Here's my card:
I decided I wanted to make a shaped card for a change, so I folded the card stock in two and placed the die so that the top slightly overhung the fold. After it's cut, the fold remains. Then I die cut another of the same shape and ran it through an embossing folder to give it a quilted look. That piece was adhered to the card front.
Here are the Ingredients:
HOTP Love & 5 Hearts Die for Shape
SU Tip Top Taupe Card Stock
SU Tufted Dynamic Embossing Folder
SU So Detailed Thinlits
SU Balloon Pop Up Thinlits for Die Cut Bow
EK Success Flower Punch
Stash Pearls and Cord
I hope you will hop on over to Double D Challenges and
see what the other designers have created. And if you play along, you will have a chance to win this adorable little die.
Thanks for stopping by, I hope you are having a great week. And don't forget to
swing by Double D and check us out. I so appreciate your lovely comments!!! They mean a lot!
Hugs~

ReplyDeleteA beautiful quilted heart, Judy, and I love that you made it the whole card. pretty with the pearls for the tufted effect. Those little flowers are so cute, too. Sometimes it's so much easier with a punch. Very pretty all over!
ReplyDeleteLOVE your shaped card! And the way you added that extra layer of texture--you're wicked smaht! I also love your colors, just perfect from the mood board and that overlay of that beautiful floral die cut, so elegant, reminds of a pretty lace shawl! And of course the pearl accents are an excellent accent. Wow...just WOW!!!
