This time over at Double D it's "FRAMES" that have the stage. Frames, you may ask? Look at the Mood Board, and all will become clear:
Lots of inspiration here. Just use a frame of any shape or size on your creation.
Here is what I came up with:
I picked up on the colors in the lower left corner, and I also liked the pop of yellow in the lower right. I used the SU Stitched Rectangles dies to make my frames, and that cute little bird was paper pieced with some bright polka dot paper. I sparkled up his beak, wings and tail with some Stickles after I colored them with an orange Stampin' Write Marker.
And the Ingredients:
*Recollections Storm Clouds Card
*Recollections Ocean Card
*Recollections Home Basics Patterned Paper
*K & Company Patterned Paper
*SU Stitched Rectangles Dies
*SU Stitched Rectangles Dies
*Technique Tuesday Bird Friends Stamps
*Nuvo Crystal Drops
*Stickles
I invite you to head on over to the Double D Challenge Blog and check out what all the other designers have done. And if you play along you could win this awesome set of dies:
So that's it for me, thanks for stopping by. I adore your comments, they always make me smile. And don't forget to stop over at Double D, there is always so much inspiration over there.
Hugs~
