Mod Squad Challenge - Slim is In

Dear Ones~

It's my turn again to host over at Mod Squad, and I have chosen to do a slimline card. I am doing a mini slimline - 3 1/4 x 6 1/4 - because I think they are so stinkin' cute, but a regular slimline - 3 1/2 x 6 1/2 - is allowed too.

PRIZE

A $20 gift certificate to the Gina K Designs store.

 Here is my card:
For this card I used the new stamp set by Lisa Hetrick called Bloom and Grow. I stamped the diamond shape with GKD Wild Dandelion Ink on GKD Heavy Base Weight Card Stock. Then I stamped the other images in GKD Obsidian Amalgam Ink. I used the Bloom and Grow, Fearless Joy and Count it All Joy stamp sets for these images. I cut the panels from the GKD Master Layouts 7 Die Set and the HELLO is from A Little Hello Layering Stencil Bundle. Card stock is GKD Wild Dandelion, Black Onyx and White. For a final embellishment I used some Crystalline Drops, but I believe they are no longer available.

Thanks for stopping by, I always enjoy your comments. And don't forget to swing on over to The Mod Squad Challenge and play along. You could win the prize.

Until next time, here's celebrating
your Creative Muse.
Hugs,

  3. Look at you doing a clean and simple card. And a wonderful one too, Judy. The yellow border brings out the color of the diamond.

  4. I adore the way that you used this stamp set. It has opened my eyes as this is such a CAS card that has punch with that diamond of yellow. Just so good looking!
