Dear Ones~
We have a fabulous new challenge for you over at Double D. This time it's OWLS AND/OR PUMPKINS. Here is the Mood Board for our inspiration:
And here is my card:
Isn't this owl just a HOOT?? (No pun intended.......well.....maybe sort of.) This card is going to my nephew who will be turning 45. I thought it was so stinkin' adorable. Hope he gets a kick out of it too.
The Ingredients:
Paper Studio Kraft Card Stock
Stampin' Up Island Indigo Card Stock
Recollections Give Thanks Patterned Paper
Loralie Designs Hootenanny Owl Stamp
Ai Buzzard Stamp for Greeting
Copic Markers
Stampin' Up Harvest Die
Trinity Stamps Gold Satin Baubles
If you head on over to the Double D Challenge Blog and
play along, you could win this die set by Cottage Cutz called Owl in a Pumpkin, and don't forget to
check out all the beautiful cards the other designers have created for your inspiration.
I'm
so glad you stopped by, and thank you for all your sweet comments.
You are too kind!!! Don't forget to head on over to Double D to see what's going on. Summer has flown by and now the leaves are turning.
Hope we have a little more time to get some fall camping in before it
gets too nasty, which it can do in the UP of Michigan this time of year.
Until next time, here's to celebrating your Creative Muse.

Fabulous owl card and I am sure it will be loved!! Love the expression on the owls face! No turning of color on our leaves here yet and hope we won't be too late next week for our northern trip to see color!
ReplyDeletehahahaha this is the BEST! Bluebird of Happiness too funny! He's priceless!
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute card! The patterned paper is so pretty.
ReplyDeleteOMG this is awesome! LOVE the look on his face ... perfect sentiment to go with his expression! Made me chuckle immediately! LOL Awesome coloring & design! Our leaves are just starting to turn here in Ohio. I'm having a neighborhood Octoberfest a week from Sunday so fingers crossed the weather cooperates and my yard isn't covered in leaves lol.
ReplyDeleteJudy, this is absolutely adorable and made me laugh out loud! I's sure your nephew will get a kick out of it. I agree with Donna, that bluebird of happiness is priceless.
ReplyDeleteToo stinkin' cute! I love this frumpy looking bluebird of happiness. The blue looks great with all of the earth tone colors.
ReplyDeleteToo funny! That sentiment with the stubborn looking owl is a hoot! Pun intended. I know that you just came up with this card on short notice, and it is great!
ReplyDeleteI agree too funny. Blue bird of happiness, indeed. Yep, your nephew will smile. Perfect card for this challenge.
ReplyDeleteI've had hours of fun with my Loralie stamps! The sentiment is hilariously funny, too, and so typical AI! This is such a great card! I always love your cards, Judy!
