Can You Handle the Pressure - Dogd/Cats/Pets

Dear Ones~
There's a new challenge up over at Can You Handle the Pressure.   For this challenge blog you MUST use an EMBOSSING FOLDER on your project.  Heat (wet) embossing is permitted but only in addition to your embossing folder design.  Each new challenge will have a 'TWIST' which is optional ... your choice to use or not.

The OPTIONAL TWIST for today's challenge is:

DOGS/CATS/PETS

Here's my card:
One of my dearest friends just lost her beautiful yellow lab. I know how she feels, we have lost many. I wanted to make her a card, and this is what I came up with. I embossed the three panels with three different embossing folders. The paper with the paw die was created with Nuvo Shimmer Powders. There's a lot of sparkle that you can't see in the photo.

The Ingredients:
Recollections Very Violet Card Stock
GKD White Card Stock
Strathmore Watercolor Paper
SU Stripes and Spatters Embossing Folder
SU Wrapped in Texture Embossing Folder
Park Lane JoAnn Embossing Folder
SSS Pawsitively Loved Die Set
Nuvo Shimmer Powders
SU Layered Circle Dies
SSS Tiny Words Stamp for Greeting
Ranger Liquid Platinum Embossing Powder
Top Dog Dies Banner #1 Die for Greeting
Trinity Stamps Bubble Bath Baubles

This is the sentiment on the inside, computer generated. I use it often, works for people or pets.

If you head on over to the Can You Handle the Pressure Blog and play along, you could win this fabulous embossing folder, and don't forget to check out all the beautiful cards the other designers have created.

Thank you so much for stopping by, your comments always make me smile. Please go take a look at the Can You Handle the Pressure blog, there's some wonderful inspiration there. You won't be sorry.

Until next time dear reader, here's celebrating your Creative Muse.

  4. I love the way you used different EF's on each of the white panels. What a lovely look. I also love your inside sentiment. The words are so perfect for the loss of a beloved pet. I many just have to put that in a file to use in the future. Just wonderful.

  6. Framing out the different embossed panels really made them stand out, Judy. I love that idea. The Shimmer background for the paw is beautiful. I'm sure your friend appreciated your thoughtfulness.

  7. There's something about a design with a trio of panels that really appeals to me, but to do it with embossing folders is a fabulous look I hadn't thought of. The center panel is very pretty. Such a sweet card that touches my own heart as it did your friend's as well, I'm sure.
