There's a new challenge up over at Double D, and this time it's LIGHTHOUSE. Here is the Mood Board for our inspiration:
And here's what I came up with:
I don't have a lot of beach-y ocean-y stuff. Probably because I live in Northern Michigan...lol. But this stamp set from Stampin' Up is just beautiful, and I'm so glad I got a chance to use it. There is a companion die set that's fabulous as well. For the background I took a piece of patterned paper that was a grid and stamped the compass image all over it. I love how it came out. Notice the knot I made with some twine? I learned how to do it from a video shared by one of my online bff's. Thanks Barb, you can watch it HERE.

This is beautiful Judy. I thought you used printed paper for the background and then I read that you stamped it. It turned out fabulous! I love all the nautical elements you added, and the knot is the perfect finishing touch.
