Dear Ones~
There's a new challenge up over at Can You Handle the Pressure. For this challenge blog you MUST use an EMBOSSING FOLDER
on your project. Heat (wet) embossing is permitted but only in addition
to your embossing folder design. Each new challenge will have a
'TWIST' which is optional ... your choice to use or not.
The OPTIONAL TWIST for today's challenge is:
BEACH
Here's my card:
I have used a stamp set by Stampin' Up called Ocean Front. It's all done with stamping, but it looks like watercolor. So much fun to use. I added a lot of Trinity Stamp Baubles to look like bubbles and I love the look. After the card was stamped I ran it through a SU Bark Embossing Folder for some texture and then added some embossing powder by Emerald Creek called Dirty Sand for more texture as well.
The Ingredients:
GKD Kraft, Powder Blue and Ivory Cardstock
SU Ocean Front Stamp Set
GKD By the Sea 2 Stamp Set
SSS Tiny Words Stamp Set for Greeting
GKD Powder Blue, Turquoise Sea, Moonlit Fog
and Fresh Asparagus Ink
SSS Latte Ink
SU Bark Embossing Folder
Emerald Creek Dirty Sand Embossing Powder
Trinity Stamp Baubles
If you head on over to the Can You Handle the Pressure Blog and
play along, you could win this adorable embossing folder by Park Lane, and don't forget to
check out all the beautiful cards the other designers have created.
Thank you so much for stopping by, your comments always make me smile. Please go take a look at the Can You Handle the Pressure blog, there's some wonderful inspiration over there. You won't be sorry.
Until next time dear reader, here's celebrating your Creative Muse.
