Can You Handle the Pressure - SQUARES and/or CIRCLES

 Dear Ones~
There's a new challenge over at Can You Handle the Pressure.   For this challenge blog you MUST use an EMBOSSING FOLDER on your project.  Heat embossing (with embossing powder) is permitted but only IN ADDITION to your embossing folder design.  Each new challenge will have a 'TWIST' which is optional ... your choice to use or not.

The OPTIONAL TWIST for today's challenge is:

SQUARES and/or CIRCLES

Here's my card:
Soccer balls are circles, right? We have a nephew who is turning 11, and he's wild about soccer. I thought he would like this card, and it fit in perfectly with the twist this time. I cannot take credit for the design, I found it HERE on Pinterest. Wherever Anne-Marie lives, it's not in the US, because she calls soccer football. LOL!!! I think the Stampin' UP Honeycomb embossing folder goes perfectly with the soccer theme.

The Ingredients:
Recollections Purple & Green Card Stock
GKD White Card Stock
Honey Bee Team Tie Dye Patterned Paper
SU Honeycomb Embossing Folder
Sunny Studio Team Player Stamp Set for Ball
Brutus Monroe/SSS Tricks & Treats Stamp Set for Cupcake
GKD Rectangle Small Set Die for Candle

  4. So clever of you to use the footballs for the frosting on a fun paper cupcake. I know when my grands were in soccer they loved getting cards like this and I’m sure your nephew will too. I really enjoyed that you put it on that bright green background, because it really makes it pop.

  6. Oh, my yes! It's absolutely perfect for your soccer loving nephew! The idea is one to CASE, for sure. The honeycomb embossed background really is ideal with it, and the patterned paper adds an extra dash of color. Very fun, Judy!
