Dear Ones~
This
time over at Double D the challenge is SHAPES. Use SHAPES on your project, like circles, squares, ovals, triangles or rectangles. Lots of
possibilities with this one. Here is the Mood Board for our inspiration:
This is what I came up with:
I love making shaped cards, so this was a fun challenge for me. I used Gina's Master Layouts 11 and cut out all the little shapes with patterned and plain paper. The background is embossed with the new Simon Swirled Ridges embossing folder. It's my new favorite. That "red" isn't really red, it's Cajun Craze, which is more of a rust color. I can't seem to get it right with my camera. 😡 The Ingredients:
GKD Charcoal and Tranquil Teal Card Stock
SU Cajun Craze Card Stock
Craft Consortium Patina Patterned Paper
GKD Master Layouts 11
SSS Swirled Ridges Embossing Folder
GKD Blooming Sunflower Stamp Set for Greeting
WoW Copper Embossing Powder
SU Copper Gems
If you head on over to the Double D Challenge Blog and
play along, you could win this fabulous mini stencil. Also, don't forget to
check out all the beautiful cards the other designers have created.
So, until next time dear readers, ASPIRE to be INSPIRED.
Here's celebrating your CREATIVE MUSE!!

Such a great shaped card--you are the Queen of them for sure! I love all of the different panels especially with the pinked edges. That Designer Paper is fantastic, love the patina of it--what a great find! This is FUN!
