Dear Ones~
There's a new challenge over at Can You Handle the Pressure. For this challenge blog you MUST use an EMBOSSING FOLDER
on your project. Heat embossing (with embossing powder) is permitted but only IN ADDITION to your embossing folder design. Each new challenge will have a
'TWIST' which is optional ... your choice to use or not.The OPTIONAL TWIST for today's challenge is:
WHEELS
This is my sample:
Gears are wheels, right?? I LOVE this die set by Tim Holtz called Vault Watch Gears. So much fun to play with. This card is for our son for his birthday. He is an engineer so I think he'll get a kick out of all the gears. The patterned paper is a digital download that I got on Etsy. Sorry, I don't know the name of the artist.
The Ingredients:
Recollections Ivory Card Stock
Tim Holtz Copper Metallic Card Stock
Stash Digital Patterned Paper
Tim Holtz Mini Mechanics Embossing Folder
Tim Holtz Vault Watch Gears
Sizzix Happy Birthday Die for Greeting
If you head on over to the Can You Handle the Pressure Blog
and
play along, you could win this beautiful embossing folder. Don't forget
to
check out all the beautiful cards the other designers have created while
you are there. And I can't wait to see all your wonderful designs!!
Until next time dear reader, I hope you "can handle the pressure"!

OH WOW this is such a cool card ... very unique and awesome! Well done my friend ... awesome inspiration!
ReplyDeleteWhat a clever take on the wheels option, and a great masculine card!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely the best masculine card! Yes, I do believe that gears are wheels! Josh will love this as it was made with love. You put a lot of texture on the gears and they look wonderful. Peeking on the inside looks like fun too.
ReplyDeleteThis has to be the coolest card I have ever seen! Those gears are AWESOME! Love how you can add the 'band' to make them 'work'! So fricken' COOL! Great texture and more cool Designer Paper! Josh will adore this keepsake!
ReplyDeleteThis is just awesome with a capital A!! I love all the metalic papers, the cogs and how you put this great masculine card together! You even sneaked in the perfect bit of embossing too. Great job!
ReplyDeleteYou always bring it! Amazing!
