Dear Ones~
There's a new challenge over at Can You Handle the Pressure. For this challenge blog you MUST use an EMBOSSING FOLDER
on your project. Heat embossing (with embossing powder) is permitted but only IN ADDITION to your embossing folder design. Each new challenge will have a
'TWIST' which is optional ... your choice to use or not.
The OPTIONAL TWIST for today's challenge is:
WINTER FUN

to
check out all the beautiful cards the other designers have created while
you are there.
Now it's your turn, I can't wait to see what you create!!
Until next time dear reader, I hope you "can handle the pressure"!
Here's celebrating your CREATIVE MUSE.

A beautiful wintery card with the perfect warm and cozy background, wish I could still skate without breaking my neck lol!! I think our 6" of snow is now pretty much gone since it rained most of the night, can't tell as it is still too dark out!!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the sled & skates (I actually have my old sled with my skates all decorated up and put out on the front porch each year since I'm too old to sled or skate lol) Beautiful wintry fun inspiration & memories!
ReplyDeleteOh how perfectly sweet! LOVE this, feel like I have created something similar LOL Wish I had that pretty Embossing Folder, it adds so much loveliness! Your sled and skates bring me back to my youth when I loved snow hahahaha with 2 older brothers we were always on the golf course sledding and skating--I think I got a concussion one time with them skating and they just told me to sit until they were ready to leave. Nice :) This is oh so Merry! Love it!
ReplyDeleteLike everyone else, this brings back memories of skating in my youth. There was an ice rink about a 15-minute walk from my house. Because I could not tie my laces tight enough to skate, I put them on at home and walked to the rink in the snowbanks. Can you just imagine? I love the sled and the skates design with that embossing folder. Such a nice job once again.
ReplyDeleteSledding and skating both are fun winter sports, Judy, and while I no longer participate they look terrific on a card.
ReplyDeleteIt must have been fun for a kid growing up in the snowy winters. I lived in that climate in my tween years and loved it. My parents -- not so much, ha! I have admired this sled on the SB site. It's beautiful and you did a stellar job of putting it together paired with the cable knit embossing. So pretty and fun!
